The Cottagers picked up their 2nd win in a row last weekend as they won 1-0 away to Bournemouth, giving them back to back Premier League wins for the first time this season. None of that mattered though, as Fulham are already relegated, sitting in 19th and with no chance of escape.
These consecutive wins were preceded by 9 losses on the bounce in the league, and it was that run that defined the outcome of their season. On Saturday they have the chance to all but finish Cardiff’s hopes of remaining in the top flight though.
The Bluebirds were widely tipped for relegation before the season began after their unlikely promotion winning campaign last term, but with just 3 games remaining they are still in with a chance of survival. They sit 3 points adrift of Brighton in 17th, although The Seagulls do have a game in hand.
It’s been a tough few weeks for Cardiff though. They have had to face Liverpool, Manchester City, and Chelsea in their last 5 outings, and while they have lost all 3 of these matches, they did put up a fight in every one of them and we are expecting them to do so again here.

- This is a game that Cardiff really need to win. Their last away game ended in a 2-0 victory against Brighton so they will come into this game with some belief. Fulham don’t have much to play for except pride and we will favour the visitors on the Asian Handicap for this one.
- Both teams haven’t really scored many goals all season. Cardiff are the 2nd lowest scoring side in the league while Fulham are 3rd. We are predicting this game to be a low scoring affair and we think Cardiff can cause an upset here with a 1-0 win.
